Northeast Kids has several opportunities for you to use your gifts to serve alongside a team of volunteers. Whether you prefer to teach a Bible story, assist a small group leader, or fill in as an occasional “sub,” we have a place for you to serve weekly, every other week, or once a month.
We prioritize the safety of our children, families and leaders. Because of this, prior to serving, we require the following from all potential volunteers:
1. Completed volunteer application
2. Background check
3. Staff and security interview
This process protects both the volunteer and the child, and it also helps us get to know our volunteers and help them find the best place to use their gifts as they serve in our ministry.
Northeast Kids
Northeast Kids consists of several environments, serving children from infants – 5th grade and their families. We recognize that parents are the primary spiritual influencers in a child’s life, and we want to support the work being done in the home as well as provide a faith community where children can worship and grow in their faith alongside peers and caring adults.
We have many serving roles where students or adults can help create a safe and nurturing faith community for our children and families. Whether you want to teach the Bible story to a class, lead or assist a small group, run tech for our large group time, greet families as they arrive, or serve on our sub team, there is a place for you to use your gifts.
