ROUTE 252
Route 252 is taken straight from Luke 2:52 which says “And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor of God and men.”

As our kids are in route on life’s journey our desire is to help shape them to be like Jesus growing in wisdom, stature, and in favor of God and men. We accomplish this mission with 5 key guiding principles:

- Creative and relevant Bible teaching
- Engaging worship
- Effective small groups
- Fun & safe environments
- Partnering with families

The Approach
Each of our age groups have specific objectives in mind. Our Early Childhood (Nursery—5 years of age), discovers that God made them, that God loves them, and that Jesus wants to be their friend forever.

Elementary (K-5th Grade) begins to implement specific virtues through a comprehensive approach exhibiting the character of Christ. The kind of growth modeled by Jesus in Luke 2:52 happens by intention, not by accident. So children learn wisdom ("I need to make the wise choice."), faith ("I can trust God no matter what.") and friendship ("I should treat others the way I want to be treated.")

This approach is done through age appropriate small groups for application & large group creative Bible teachings for all children in Route 252.

Weekend Worship Services:
Saturday 6:00 pm and Sunday 9:00am & 10:45am
Check-In (Sat-5:45 pm & Sun-8:45 & 10:30 am)
All kids coming into a room must wear their photo ID badge or Guest ID badge. Adults dropping off will receive a matching badge used to pick up their child.

Children are checked in by a parent or guardian at the entrance to their room. No child is allowed to enter a Route 252 room without their ID badge.

Each badge has a unique number used to locate a parent during the service. The number will appear on the red LED displays at the front of the worship area. When the number appears please proceed to your child’s room.

On Saturdays nursery (5 years of age) check in & remain in their rooms. Elementary children check in outside the adult worship center and worship with their parents until being dismissed with their leaders for a Bible teaching and life application.

On Sunday the guest check in is located in our lower level lobby and in the entrance to our 18-36 months room on the main floor.

All guests are to check in outside the adult worship center.

Check-Out
Adults with the proper ID badge are allowed to enter their child’s room. When exiting, our Route 252 leaders will compare the tags for dismissal.

If a ID badge is lost, a lost tag form must be completed by the adult picking up to ensure the child’s safety before being released.
