ROUTE
252
Route 252 is taken
straight from Luke 2:52 which says And Jesus grew in wisdom
and stature, and in favor of God and men.
As our kids
are in route on lifes journey our desire is to help shape
them to be like Jesus growing in wisdom, stature, and in favor
of God and men. We accomplish this mission with 5 key guiding
principles:
- Creative
and relevant Bible teaching
- Engaging worship
- Effective small groups
- Fun & safe environments
- Partnering with families
The Approach
Each of our age groups have specific objectives in mind. Our Early
Childhood (Nursery5 years of age), discovers that God made
them, that God loves them, and that Jesus wants to be their friend
forever.
Elementary
(K-5th Grade) begins to implement specific virtues through a comprehensive
approach exhibiting the character of Christ. The kind of growth
modeled by Jesus in Luke 2:52 happens by intention, not by accident.
So children learn wisdom ("I need to make the wise choice."),
faith ("I can trust God no matter what.") and friendship
("I should treat others the way I want to be treated.")
This approach
is done through age appropriate small groups for application &
large group creative Bible teachings for all children in Route
252.
Weekend
Worship Services:
Sunday 9:00am & 10:45am
Children Check-In 8:45am & 10:30 am
All families check-in with our computer system in the lower lobby. Children will receive a name tag with their name, room name, and ID #. Parents receive a pick up tag with the matching ID # from their child's tag.
Children are checked in by a parent or guardian in the lower lobby and brought to their room. No child is allowed to enter a Route 252 room without being checked-in and their name tag.
Each name tag has a unique number used to locate a parent during the service. The number will appear on the lower right corner of the screen in the worship area. When the number appears parents/guardians are to proceed to the hallway where they are greeted by a Route 252 leader.
Guests check-in is located in our lower level lobby.
Check-Out
Adults with the proper ID tag are allowed to enter their child's room. When exiting, our Route 252 leaders will compare the child's name tag and tag for dismissal.
If a ID tag is lost, a lost tag form must be completed by the adult picking up to ensure the child's safety before being released.
