Our
Weekend Services
We have four worship services every weekend:
- Sunday
at 7:45am in the Ministry Center (traditional service)
- Sunday
at 9:00am in the Auditorium (main service)
- Sunday
at 10:45am in the Auditorium (main service)
- Sunday at 10:45am
in the Ministry Center (student service)
All
worship services on a weekend exist to encourage people to love God.
Each has a consistent biblical message that is shared by our team of
teachers. Sunday morning attire is casual and friendships are nourished
throughout our hallways and at our café area were you can get
a cup-a-joe or a specialty beverage throughout the morning.
Our
Life Groups
Because we at Northeast believe that spiritual transformation and accountability
best occurs in a small group environment we encourage everyone to get
involved in a Life Group. Life Groups are small groups of people who
meet all around the Rockford area throughout the week to encourage each
other to be intentional disciples. These groups help a large church
be more personal and accountable. So, to really help Northeast feel
like home, finding a Life Group is an integral step for those who are
part of the Northeast family.
Our
Children's Ministry
Northeast's children's ministry is designed to shower God's love and
care on our children as they learn about the truths of the Bible in
creative and experiential ways. It's also a place for our children to
learn how to build strong relationships. Learning how to build relationships
is key because if a child can begin to build a strong relationship then
they can begin to build one with Jesus! To create this kind of an environment
we have a team of volunteers who let Christ shine through them through
biblical storytelling, arts, crafts, dramas, and worship. This takes
place on Sunday mornings, at Awana Clubs, at Vacation Bible School,
and at Summer Camps.
Our
Student Ministry
Our student ministry exists to reach non-believing students, to help
students mature in faith, discover their ministry, and honor God with
their lives. The student ministry involves 4:24 - the student-lead service
on Sunday morning, Refuge - a mid-week Junior High gathering, small
groups, retreats, and missions trips. All these are the tools that are
used to help the students become intentional disciples of Jesus. Our
ministry tries to help the students learn to feed themselves spiritually
so that when they move on from here their faith will be of lasting nature
and not simply tied to Northeast.
Thanks again for
dropping by and we hope you enjoy your experience!
